Dr. Indira Priyadarshini is a British trained Psychiatrist. She completed her MBBS at Mysore University, India in 2000. Later, she worked in General Medicine in Shivamogha, India for 3 years, then moved to the United Kingdom to pursue Core and Higher training in Psychiatry. She trained and worked in NHS, UK for over 14 years. Dr. Priyadarshini is a member of The Royal College of Psychiatrist United Kingdom. She also completed a Postgraduate diploma in psychological medicine and has accreditation in DISCO (Diagnostic Interview for Communication and Social Disorders). During these years, the intense guided training added with years of clinical experience gave her the skills and confidence in the management and treatment of Mental health and psychological issues and complex medication management issues related to the field of Psychiatry.
Dr. Priyadarshini is specialized in treating mild to moderate, simple to a complex range of mental health conditions related to adolescents, general adult, and older adult age group. She has developed a special interest in women’s mental health wellbeing and adolescent/adult neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, ASD).
In her practice, during the entire professional journey, she pays special attention and gives utmost respect to the cultural and religious beliefs, values and above all confidentiality.
