Mr. Ayub Kalaff, MS

Mr. Kalaff is a professional with over 14 years of experience working in the healthcare industry and has developed and managed projects at Johns Hopkins Hospital, USA and Dubai Healthcare City, UAE. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Middlebury College, USA, where he received “high honors”, he joined Johns Hopkins Medical School where he conducted clinical research in mental health for over 10 years

In 2003, Mr. Kalaff obtained his Masters of Science in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University, Where he developed powerful partnerships within the healthcare industry, with commercial enterprises, academic institutions, as well as State and Federal Agencies; this resulted in multi-million dollar funded projects. He was also responsible for developing and implementing quality control and patient safety standards at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Mr. Kalaff is a member of the American Psychological Association, Washington, DC, USA. and is also familiar with Joint Commission International Standards and Accreditation.

In 2004, Mr. Kalaff moved to the UAE and started developing projects at Dubai Healthcare City. He also presented many workshops on psychology at Counseling Arabia conferences and at the Higher College of Technology University System in the UAE. In 2005, Mr. Kalaff was appointed an adjunct faculty at Sharjah Women’s College, where he taught Health Psychology for graduating senior students. In 2005, Mr. Kalaff was funded by the Canadian Fund to conduct workshops on HIV in Yemen. The workshops were attended by medical students, faculty members, physicians, social workers and community counselors.

Mr. Kalaff is the managing director and one of the founding partners of Health Call. Mr. Kalaff is developing a comprehensive mental health program that will be offered to the UAE community. This program will have a special focus on children.
