Dr Jack Fernandes is the newest addition to our team of doctors. He has come from the United Kingdom, where he worked for the National Health Service (NHS) as a Family Medicine Doctor for a busy surgery / clinic in North London.

Dr Fernandes qualified in 1991. He is on the UK General Medical Council G.P. / Family Practitioner register. Apart from being a Family Medicine Doctor, he is also a qualified surgeon and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, London, and has a wealth of E.N.T. ( Ear, Nose & Throat ) experience.

Dr Fernandes is also interested in musculoskeletal problems and does joint injections and also conducts minor surgical procedures like excision of lipomas, sebaceous cysts, naevi and skin tags.


In the last 5 years, Dr Jack Fernandes has worked as a Principal Family Medicine Practitioner, in a busy surgery / clinic in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, just north of London. Prior to this, he has worked at various hospitals in the Southeast of England. He trained in E.N.T. in Essex, at Southend, Basildon and Chelmsford General Hospitals, Paediatrics at St. John’s Hospital in Chelmsford, Accident & Emergency at King George & Goodmayes  Hospital in Ilford, Orthopaedics at Southend General Hospital, General Surgery at The Royal Hospital in Haslar, Gosport, and General Medicine at Lewisham Hospital.

Dr Jack Fernandes is an enthusiastic member of our team, and apart from working in our clinic, also participates in Home Visits.

Dr Fernandes speaks English, Spanish and Konkani fluently.
