Dr. Shujaat Ali Nathani is an American Board Certified Psychiatrist in General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. He is also certified in Advanced Clinical Psychopharmacology. His psychiatric training was at Hahnemann University and Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Dr. Nathani comes to Dubai from North Carolina, USA where he was Chief of Psychiatry and President of the Medical and Psychology Staff at Broughton Hospital in Morganton, NC. He was an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Medical University of the Americas, and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at SABA University School of Medicine. Dr. Nathani was named as one of “America’s Top Psychiatrists” for 2002-03, 2004-5, and 2007-08 by the Consumer Research Council of America.

Dr. Nathani’s expertise is treating Children and Adolescents with various psychiatric disorders not limited to ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Mood and Anxiety disorders, Tic disorders and Substance Abuse.

 Dr. Nathani currently provides Comprehensive Psychiatric service in collaboration with Health Call, in Dubai Healthcare City.  In addition, he is assisting in the establishment of “CenterPointe International”, an extension of US based, CenterPointe Psychiatric Hospital System.
