Dr. Fatima Ibragimova
Dr. Fatima Ibragimova studied General Medicine in Tashkent State Medical University, Uzbekistan. She finished her medical training in Belgium with a Postgraduate Education in Family Medicine at the Catholic University of Louvain. She has vast worldwide experience, working in hospitals in Uzbekistan, Sierra Leone, Belgium and the Netherlands. She has worked in various departments: Gynecology, Internal medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics and in the Emergency Department. These unique experiences have allowed her to develop skills in all fields of medicine and fine tune her communication skills with people of all cultures and traditions. The last ten years she has been active as a Family Physician in Belgium. Amongst others, she was the leading physician of the Emergency Department of the Eeuwfeest Kliniek, Antwerp, and the Sint-Elisabeth Hospital, Antwerp. Additionally she assisted in various government organizations responsible for Well Child check-ups and Prenatal Consultations. She is fluent in Russian, Dutch and English and can also uphold her own with French speaking patients. |
